K & K Court
Gold- and Silversmith

In 1899, the imperial family commissioned the goldsmith atelier Schneider-Rappel to restore the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) in Innsbruck. Over 3000 shingles of the Innsbruck landmark were fire-gilded in the workshop.
In recognition of the quality achieved, the Austro-Hungarian imperial family awarded the title ‘K & K Court Gold- and Silversmith’.

The rooms breathe history, 100-year-old drawings hang on the walls, the cupboards reveal wondrous handcrafted tools, some of which are still in use today.
